Comprehensive Care
The Urology Academic Practice offers comprehensive management for adult and pediatric urologic conditions. Every subspecialty in urology is covered by fellowship-trained urologists with a subspecialty practice.
Endourology - Our kidney stone specialist treats the most complex stones using the latest surgical tools and provides full metabolic evaluations to prevent future stones.
Urologic Oncology - Our goal is to offer the most innovation and minimally-invasive treatments. For the most challenging cancer cases, there is an individual fellowship-trained urologic oncologist with dedicated expertise in that disease. The most common urologic cancers are listed, and the physician leader for each disease type has a busy clinical practice and an active, nationally recognized research program in that disease.

Female Urology and Reconstruction - This program has 3 urologists with subspecialty practices offering state-of-the-art care for female patients with urine incontinence and prolapse. For patients with female sexual dysfunction, a full array of medical therapies and procedures are available. This is one of only a handful of female urology programs in the nation with extensive expertise in robotic surgery and a research program funded by the National Institute of Health.
Male Infertility and Sexual Dysfunction - For approximately 50% of couples, a male factor contributes to infertility. Men are offered a comprehensive evaluation and when appropriate microsurgical treatments are offered. Advanced surgical and medical treatments are offered for men who do not respond to PDE5 inhibitors such as Viagra and Cialis.
Pediatric Urology - Our pediatric urologist performs complex urologic procedures in the youngest patients, offering both laparoscopic and robotic procedures when appropriate. There is an emphasis on non-surgical management of many pediatric disorders.
Comprehensive Gender Affirming Surgery Program - Our multidisciplinary team of experts helps transgender people with all their medical issues ranging from psychiatric, endocrine, gynecologic, sexual to genital reconstruction.
Our team approach fosters collaborative research between scientists and clinicians with the goal of making innovative discoveries available to all of our patients with challenging urological disorders. Our urologists have over $3.5 million dollars in annual funding from the National Institute of Health where the urologist is the principal investigator on the project.
Our team communicates with the referring physician to coordinate care and determine the best treatment.
