The prostate enlarges as men get older. This is a natural process known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). However, it can lead to problems with urination.

If you are waking up frequently at night or having trouble delaying your urination, you may be suffering from benign prostatic hyperplasia.  There are medications, surgeries and even simple behavioral therapies that can address this problem and improve your quality of life.
